This parting reminds me a lot of the grief I also felt when my dad died... You can never prepare yourself enough for the searing pain it leaves behind.... I used to wonder if I would ever fill an emptiness.. a hollow... a deep hole within my being.. being left bare of the security enveloped in a fathers embrace. Everytime I recall moments with Tito Bede.. they always make me smile... 'coz most of them I see my father share a good laugh with him. Whenever my dad go to Manila or Tito Bede comes here in Iloilo, basta may bulang sang manok... updanay na sila!!! No matter where dad drags him .. no matter how tiring... no problem.. hehe..you'll probably see him
catch his zzzzz....wherever.......whenever..cowboy!!
My deepest condolences to Tita Baby... I know mere words cannot heal your sorrow but me and mom just want you to know that we love you and we will always be here for you.

Lord, please bless our Daddy,
the man who means so much to us,
who is greatly responsible
for who we are and who we are becoming.
Bless him for having the courage
to do what’s necessary to keep us out of trouble,
for making us do the right thing,
for helping us build our character,
even when it makes us angry;
and bless him for pushing us to do our best,
even when he just wants to love us.
